Hello Lars,

You seem to have ordered C&D pretty heavily. What's your impression of OJK?

Thanks!

So far, from that lot, I have only sampled Prince Albert and Walnut.

Prince Albert was an OK smoke, but not something that would make it on my permanent list of blends to always keep around. I smoked the PA sample in the same pipe and after puffing through most of the 2oz sample, it did show some potential as an all day smoke. Compared to other blends I have, it simply didn't wow me enough.

Walnut is a different beast all together. It's a very light English with several components. There's a healthy dose of latakia in there, but nowhere near the same levels as I'm used to. It made up for a nice and complex smoke that I would certainly consider getting more of. And the price can't be beat.

Well... Have you had a chance to smoke any of these yet? I really like Old Joe Krantz and consider Carter Hall, Half & Half and Prince Albert absolutely VILE.
