Plain and simple
This plain Virginia may not be the most inspiring blend in the range of Mac Baren tobaccos, but it is delightful none the less. The taste of Virginia and nothing but Virginia is absolutely wonderful to say the least.
A lot of blends sport many different kinds of leaf. Much care is taken to balance these blends just right, giving a complex smoke. Virginia No. 1 is very straight forward. The mild sugary taste of the pure Virginia, leaves me pleasantly at ease.
Bite always seems to be an issue with Mac Baren products. I experience none of that. Puffing hard will give you a burn for sure, but I would probably let the pipe get some rest before it ever came that far.
I got to get more of this to cellar.
