Tragic Event
My beloved Kaywoodie Apple is no more…

This tragic event was caused by a lack of attention on the pipe. It slipped out and dropped straight to the floor. At first glance, everything looked to be OK, but as soon as I went to remove the ashes from the bowl, something was very wrong. It came apart in my hands. Tears rushed promptly to the corner of my eye.
After a few “no no no no no no”‘s followed by a couple of whimpers and a little whine, I told my wife I needed a new pipe. She agreed with me (wise decision), and we went to the local B&M a short bus ride away.
Moments later, dollars out of my pocket I get:
1 – 3.5oz Rattray’s Old Gowrie
1 – 1.8oz Robert McConnell Latakia
1 – 1.8oz Caledonian Highland Cream (Melange No. 10)
And this…

A Peterson Aran Bulldog. My first Peterson no less.
A bowl of Red Raparee in this new piece of briar.
